The command line "sudo" in Unix/Linux/BSD is the super user command to do something.
"sudo" stands for "Super User DO" and executes commands with administrator privileges.
The double exclamation mark at the end is a Bash shell feature (an "event designator") that refers to the previous command executed.
So in case you failed at something, you can try again, but this time with super powers!
